Zachary Baker and "Nt.Ch" Late Nite Tequilla Rose during the 2008/2009 coon season.
Here is one of the best coon hounds that I ever owned or had the pleasure of hunting with.
"Dual Night Champion" Bogg's Creek Rowdy
Queenie was one of the hardest tree dogs that I ever owned, she was a great companion to "ole" Rowdy.
"Boggs Creek Queenie"
Rowdy locked down on a "river bottom" coon.
A cast of foxhounds on one of my coyote hunts, I hunted coyotes for several years, they are one of the craftiest animals that I have ever hunted.
Rowdy treed on another "Martin County Ringtail".
My Grandfather ( Ed Heichelbech ) with one of his favorite foxhounds in 1962. He was a avid outdoorsman and enjoyed running hounds all of his life. Many nights were spent around the campfire listening to the hounds on the trail of a red fox. The hills and hollers of Martin County have been favored by houndsmen for generations.
My Grandpa and Grandma Baker (George and Maxine (Sims) Baker) with a seasons catch of coons. Grandpa Baker enjoyed running hounds and kept coon dogs up until his death in 1987. I spent many nights hunting with my Grandpa Baker around the Dover Hill area. "Granny" Baker was well known to the locals as one of the best cooks that ever lived.
